Social media/email marketing tools
Social Pilot
We use this for prescheduling our posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Google My Business. (Social Pilot can also post to TikTok, Pinterest, VK, and Tumblr!) You will save SO MUCH TIME crafting and scheduling your posts in advance. In addition, Social Pilot allows you to customize your posts for each platform and to review analytics.
Canva
This is THE graphic design tool for non-graphic designers! Canva helps us produce professional graphics we can be proud of. We have the Pro account, which gives access to Canva’s Background Remover tool, plus a greater library of templates, graphics, stock video, and more.
Mailchimp
We looooove Mailchimp! We find it so much more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing than (ahem) Constant Contact. While we use it mostly for email marketing, it can also be used to build landing pages.
Video tools and enrichment
Epidemic Sound
This is our go-to source for royalty-free music and sound effects, which have taken our videos to the next level! Epidemic’s catalog of sounds (easily searchable) will blow your mind. If you’re creating content for your own YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, or podcast and want to avoid copyright strikes, the Personal Plan is all you need.
Income School
If you want to build income through your YouTube channel or blog, the Income School has hundreds of online lessons that will walk you through a proven system. We’ve already plowed through most of their YouTube lessons and are enjoying lots more views and traffic to our channel!
VidIQ
With VidIQ, we get daily ideas for videos based on “hot” search topics within our niche on YouTube. We can also research keywords, get intel on the competition, and more!
